A Turn up for the books

Well there you have it; for the first time in GBSA history an event had to be cancelled due to too much wind!! Sunday morning saw winds averaging around F6-7 and by 2pm, the time for the skippers, it was gusting F9-10 with well over mast high close outs in the sets !! As there were only about 5 people willing to take part we had to cancel - after all the GBSA 2006 couldn't be decided on the outcome of a survival session! The year is not yet over however and the plan is to hold somthing between Christmas and New Year seeing as the sea is still 12-13degrees C!
